How to Copy 1737 Folder’s Name Into Excel Easily

I have about 1700 folder’s name that I need to show in Excel. When I have less than 10 folders name I don’t mine copy it one by one into the Excel spreadsheet.

This is something else I cannot copy one by one 1737 folder names into the spreadsheet.

So this is what I did and it saves me a lot of time 🙂
1. Run CMD command, click the search button, type CMD

2. Go the parent of folder you want to list, CD folder name

3. Type dir > foldernames.txt and press enter. Seems nothing happen but it actually created a file called foldernems.txt contain my 1737 folders name

4. You just need to open it from Excel and saves a lot of time doing it manually.
